One important issue currently in education is the teacher's role in the classroom.
Sara Sánchez Alonso (https://campuspress.yale.edu/yctl/instructional-methods/) presents two different scenarios:
1. A class where the teacher is the active person and his role is AUTHOR.
2. A class where students are the active members and the teacher's role is TUTOR.
Typically, nowadays, we feel more confortable in a class where students are the active members and avoid a lecture based class.
However, Sara shares some opinions that support both options that can be a starting-point for a healthy discussion about this crucial issue.
